Charlie Kirk’s values didn’t represent those of Canadians

As a Canadian, Rachael Thomas has absolutely no business eulogizing an American fascist influencer like Charlie Kirk in the House of Commons.
On what basis do I use the term fascist? Trust Kirk’s own words, not mine. His list of objectionable, offensive beliefs is lengthy.
He advocated for hatred and violent protest on many occasions, and represented a plethora of terrifying beliefs. He didn’t condemn the deaths of children killed in mass shootings and supported the idea of forcing his own child to carry a pregnancy resulting from rape to term.
There are others, and more; yet his even tone of voice, alleged Christianity, and European ancestry gave him the privilege of appearing balanced and reasonable. He was not “just a conservative who debated people at colleges.” He said things that, in our country, which still has standards of decency, would be considered hate speech.
And yet our representative, who also avows herself a Christian, and tolerant, called for a standing ovation for this man. While no one deserve to be shot in cold blood, Kirk considered gun deaths to be the price of the second amendment right that Americans fetishize so dearly, even at the expense of human rights and their democracy and safety.
Are these the values of Rachael Thomas? If so, how can we possibly trust her to advocate for constituents whose humanity she fundamentally devalues, and agrees with devaluing? I am calling for her immediate resignation from Parliament. A Nazi has already been applauded by accident in Parliament, and applauding the modern equivalent, a rhetorical terrorist, is an international embarrassment.

The only hate speech I see is the kind that argues valid points with nonsense reasoning, reasoning that Charlie has backed up with examples and quote. All he wanted to do was have a conversation. He’s more than once agreed to disagree, because we can’t always agree on everything. The art of conversation has lost their ways to the point where feelings matter, not facts. Sorry, just because you feel a certain way does not make it factual. Same as telling a lie. Say all you want about a lie, but that does not make it true. Evidence, my friend, pure evidence. (And now, with a quick wave of my hand, Gandolf disappears in the mist of light and glitter, and who knows where he will comment next)

The letter shows the truth of where we are in society, when angry small groups who demand to be special and foment hate to make their point and spread lies in a desperate act to push their point and judge law abiding, respectful citizens to make themselves feel better for their sins!
They only care about ‘ME’!
They do not know how to be civil or respectful. Many of the commentors who follow and support the writer appear to be blind to the truth and facts and spew whatever they read on social media as fact and suffer from delusions of grandeur.
Many hate Christians and will do all they can to tear them down in an effort to protect their sinful ways, blaming Christians for their unhappy lives!
Facts:
The Charlie Kirk Vigil in Lethbridge brought over 3,500 people together in peace, no anger, no attacks against any other groups, no intimidation, only love and respect. This was the most ever assembled at once for an event as far back as I can remember. Not even the Pagan ‘anti-Christ’ Festival, Canada Day, the Electronic ‘Drug’ Festival or other events saw 30% of those numbers.
The Charlie Kirk Memorial in the US saw over 100,000 attend but over 200,000 arrived but many were turned away. Over 100,000 million livestreamed the event with over 1 billion views worldwide, but some say over 2 billion views.
This small group of angry people who comment here are a tiny drop in an ocean but think they are the big fish in a tiny pond. The people who showed up to show their respects for Charlie Kirk whrldwide prove that all the lies and deceit fail and truth prevails!
They fail to see themselves as haters and try to accuse those only tried bring love and peace into their lives as haters. Just like so many things today, they are trying to change the meaning of words such as hate, genocide, reconciliation, etc., to benefit their own cause, a cause to hate!

As dubious as the Galt Gardens attendance, which I would put at below 300 people (despite Harold/Reality/Sheran exaggerations ostensibly validated by the ‘LPS drone’).
You are determined to show disrespect to those who participated in the vigil, I suppose you would rather this narrative of the vigil: “A couple dozen showed up at the Galt Gardens theatre pavilion, most thought it was a free hot dog and chip opportunity and left disappointed and hungry”! Is that more to your liking SophieR?
Sounds closer to the truth. Surely one of the thousands posted a photo you could link? Why exaggerate? It’s bizaar!
Actually, his views represented many of us. Watch/read what he said when he spoke, rather than being duped by MSM trying to convince people otherwise to fit their narrative.
Thank you, Rachel Thomas, for taking that moment to acknowledge a life lost because of the hatred and intolerance of those who are incapable and unwilling to recognize their own hypocrisy. (I’ll bet you were also angry that Jimmy Kimmel was suspended, eh?)

It is said that thousands more will or already have risen up to continue Turning Point USA ! It is already spreading worldwide and even here in Lethbridge as a chapter is being formed. It will certainly succeed based on the 3,500+ that participated in the Charlie Kirk vigil in Galt Gardens last Saturday. (The Turning Point USA program had over a billion viewers this week)
Where is this chapter and how can one get involved?
With approximately 50,000 requests for the starting of new chapters of Turning Point USA, it would be worthwhile to have someone start one here just to see the heads explode on the CAVE. Citizen against virtually everything also know in other parts of the world as the BLOB.

“Turning Point USA” – Ms Thomas will surely be a devout follower. Most if not all of her rhetoric is from the TP playbook.

The MP in question is a political animal, she does whatever political animals do. She knows her base is the right winger who are fervent about their “Christian Nationalism” and likely to vote for separation, .
