Edith Cavell and hospital staff appreciated for their help

By Lethbridge Herald on February 24, 2024.

Editor:

On Thursday, Feb. 8, my husband was entertaining at the Edith Cavell Care Centre when he had an unfortunate medical issue, which required immediate help.  One of their team members called for help, nurses came and CPR was administered as well as personal care.  In the meantime the paramedics were called.  He was transferred to Lethbridge Regional Hospital where he received care from the Emergency staff.

We would just like to say that the team members at Edith Cavell were very efficient and did exactly as the incident required.  We are thankful to Robyn, the Administrator, and Leanne, The Director of Care, for explaining to us exactly how everything went.  It seems that there were persons from Recreation, Physio, Nursing and Health Care Aide teams who assisted with the incident.  They should all be very proud of the way they worked together.

We say thank you for all you did to help my husband. We are grateful.
